Welcome to my site; look around and get to know me – I look forward to meeting and working with you. I am a theatre artist, technical director, and university instructor, I received my B.A. in theatre arts from the University of Minnesota and my M.F.A. in theatre production from Penn State University. I teach theatre design and production, including scenery, lighting and sound, as well as costume design, properties, stage management and scene painting. I have taught, designed and served as technical director at Washington University in St. Louis, Huntington University in Indiana, and Penn State University, as well as currently at Eastern Mennonite University, and Bridgewater College in Virginia.

Professional credits include scenery and lights for Creation Chronicles and Fish Eyes for Ted & Company TheaterWorks, lighting for the St. Louis Ballet (Nutcracker, Contemporary Dance Festival) and Tango Rosa, and technical direction for 6 seasons of the Shakespeare Festival in St. Louis. In Pennsylvania, credits include technical direction for PA Center Stage (Push, The Foreigner, &c) and scenery & lighting for Loaves & Fishes (Driving Miss Daisy). Minnesota credits include lighting for the Illusion Theater (Blues in the Night, Family, Statements After An Arrest… &c), Children’s Theatre School (Pippin) and three seasons as resident designer for the Paul Bunyan Playhouse (Foxfire, Noises Off!, Peter Pan &c). While in Minnesota, I was a founder and artistic force behind Taproot Theatre of Minnesota, a grouped that toured inspirational, provocative dramatic works to civic and religious organizations.
